Burnout and Stress

You were never meant to carry everything.

Maybe you’ve become the person everyone depends on. You keep showing up, taking care of others, meeting expectations, and pushing through - even when you’re exhausted. Somewhere along the way, you may have started believing that slowing down means you’re failing.

Short-term stress can help us respond to challenges, but prolonged stress without enough recovery can leave your mind and body feeling depleted. You may experience emotional exhaustion, irritability, difficulty concentrating, low motivation, overwhelm, or feeling disconnected from the things that once mattered to you.

Therapy can help you understand what’s happening beneath the exhaustion. We can explore the thoughts, emotions, internal pressures, and patterns that contribute to stress and burnout while developing practical skills for regulation, boundaries, and recovery.

Using an integrative approach drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems, and somatic-informed practices, we’ll work toward understanding your needs, challenging unhelpful beliefs, increasing emotional awareness, and creating healthier and more sustainable ways of living.

We’ll also explore what Scripture says about your worth, your limits, rest, and the temptation to find your identity in productivity or constantly caring for others.

Your worth isn’t measured by how much you accomplish. You are loved by God apart from what you do.
