Your faith is an important part of who you are - and it can be an important part of your healing too.
At Hope Harbor, Christian counseling brings together Christ-centered care and research-informed mental health treatment. Therapy provides a space to understand your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, relationships, and nervous-system responses while also exploring how your faith shapes your identity, values, struggles, and hope.
My approach is integrative and tailored to each client. Depending on your needs, therapy may draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and somatic-informed practices. These approaches can help you better understand your emotions, process difficult experiences, recognize patterns, develop healthier ways of responding, and move toward meaningful change.
Because faith is foundational to this practice, there is also room for Scripture, prayer, spiritual reflection, and exploring what it means to experience healing while remaining rooted in Christ.
You don’t have to separate your faith from your mental health to receive good therapy. Here, you can care for your mind and heart while honoring your faith.
